- Origin- It was named after Nokdong which is one of the traditional villages of Wolnam-dong near the station

- As one of the smallest subway station in the nation, it has a platform structure that operates the only rope method screen doors in the nation. Nokdong station was not included in the construction plan at first, but it was built for the consideration of Nokdong village residents. Trains headed to Nokdong comes every 1 to 1 and a half hours./
