Designed for the customers to feel comfortable and easy. We adopted the advanced technique system like automatic welding system to enhance the welding quality for the body in producing process and systemic quality management system. We adopted the metro performance test as the first in domestic for the safety inspection, went through the reserve drive test like form test 5,000km and learning test 1,000km by Korea Railroad Research Institute. We focused on confirming the safety of customer in an emergency time like fire, using world- level flame retardant(Nomex Honey-Comb)at the room interiors and finishes.

Gwangju Metro, which applied aluminum alloy to body as the first in domestic, composes the comfortable mood and implements the internal and external painting considering the image of Gwangju Metropolitan City. Aluminum subway can be lightened up to 20% comparing to the existed stainless-steel subways, enhance the comfort and noise blockage effects, reduce the maintenance expenditure like electricity.

GRTC implemented domestic ESA which was invented with the domestic technique only, like subway synthesize control unit, traction motor, and assist-power unit which act as the brain, eye and the ear of the subway. We can react to the breakdown rapidly without depending on the foreign technique and component, cut the expenditure of maintenance, not to mention the development of domestic railroad industry.

we implemented the gangway which is all-in-one of the floor and the links to solve the inconvenience for the disabled to move between the rooms. This way, which is convenient to move between the rooms can reduce the time elapse of in and out, and make the comfortable mood. Also confirmed the space for the sick, and old and surrounding for the customer of the wheel-chair, so the customer of the disabled and with the stroller can move conveniently.

Gwangju Metro put efforts on confirmation of safety by strict production standard and management, also made customer feel comfortable with the subway by adopting the convenience facilities of state-of-the-art technique. Those are the room air conditioning which coordinate the temp by the sensor in the room, high-tech broadcasting facilities which control the volume automatically according to the each room noises and the room line information indicator which indicates the direction of the subway.
